Healing that starts at the Root

DISCOVER YOUR OPTIMAL HEALTH

The body heals itself when given the right conditions — my role is to create those conditions.

Traditional acupuncture, advanced microneedling, and integrative wellness — blending ancient medicine with modern science to help you feel whole.

Traditional needle therapy that restores the flow of qi — addressing pain, stress, hormonal imbalance, and more through the body's own intelligence.

Acupuncture has been practiced for thousands of years and modern science is finally catching up to what practitioners have always known. By placing fine, sterile needles at precise points on the body, acupuncture stimulates the nervous system, particularly engaging the parasympathetic nervous system, reduces inflammation, improves circulation, and activates your body's own healing intelligence.

People come to Cassandra for acupuncture for all kinds of reasons: chronic pain, stress and anxiety, hormonal imbalance, digestive issues, sleep disruption, fertility support, headaches, and more. Whatever brings you in, the approach is the same — understand the root, treat the whole person, and let the body do what it was designed to do.

Acupuncture

Gua sha and Moxibustion

Gua sha uses a smooth tool and intentional pressure to release tight tissue, restore circulation, and move what's stuck. Its unique value lies in activating multiple healing systems simultaneously — circulatory, neurological, immune, and connective tissue. Whether you're dealing with neck and shoulder tension, chronic pain, or a complexion that needs a reset, gua sha works with your body's own intelligence to bring things back into balance. Harter Acupuncture

“Moxa” or Moxibustion uses the gentle, penetrating heat of burning mugwort to warm the meridians, tonify qi, and nourish the body at a deep level. Where acupuncture moves and regulates, moxa builds and restores. It is especially powerful for conditions rooted in cold, deficiency, or depletion: fatigue, digestive weakness, menstrual irregularity, fertility support, and a depleted immune system. Research supports what practitioners have known for centuries — moxa increases local circulation, activates the body's cellular repair mechanisms, and reduces inflammation. The result is a treatment that doesn't just address symptoms, but replenishes the root.

Cupping

Cupping involves myofascial decompression therapy that improves circulation, reduces musculoskeletal tension, and activates natural healing pathways — making it one of the most versatile therapies in integrative care and a wonderful complement to acupuncture. The distinctive suction lifts and decompresses tissue rather than compressing it, reaching layers of fascia that hands alone can't access. Whether you're recovering from an injury, carrying chronic tension, or simply need to exhale — cupping meets you there. ACA Acupuncture and Wellness
